You’ve worked so hard these last few years, and I believe in making it count and creating memories that make you feel extra special! All the amazingness begins after you say you "yes to the sesh" and get access to the Taylor Verner Photography Senior Lounge. This is where you will find everything you need to know about what to wear, how to prep and what to expect. I'll send you a Senior Portrait Questionnaire AND a Senior Parent Questionnaire- it helps teach me everything I need to know about both of you and your vision(s) for the experience, so that I can customize it just for you! Although my primary focus is always on my Senior- we want Mama to be happy with the results as well!

Shoot day!
The fun begins! After working together to choose the perfect locations and plan out the details of your session, we will meet on-location to begin your senior portrait experience. I will help you finalize your outfit choices and style your wardrobe to be picture-perfect before we start shooting. Then, we will spend 1-2 hours photographing at our selected locations. I will take some "behind the scenes" video for social media along our way too- basically, you'll live the life of an influencer for an afternoon! I will pose you and guide you throughout the entire session - no modeling experience necessary! Your only job is to have fun and enjoy the day!

Sneak Peeks!
The day after your Senior Portrait Session, I will share a social media sneak peek for you to see, squeal about, and share! Then, it will be about two weeks until you receive your full senior portrait gallery online. I know that you will be anxious to have them, so I promise not to make you wait a second longer than you need to!

Gallery Delivery
After two weeks, you full online gallery will be delivered! Here, you will be able to download, share and print all of your fully edited, high resolution digital files. Your gallery will be backed up for five years - so you don't have to worry about losing images! The hardest part will be choosing your weekly #seniorsunday post!

In late May, we will meet back up for a 30 minute Cap and Gown Photoshoot to celebrate your upcoming graduation! I'll have these graduation portraits completely edited and back to you within 48 hours so they can be used for announcements or general celebration of your amazing accomplishment!

WHEN SHOULD SENIOR PORTRAITS BE TAKEN?
Such a great question! Once you have finished your Junior year, you can start thinking about your senior pictures. As far as the time of year, it really depends on your style and personality. Decide which season suits you best. Are you hoping to wear skirts, shorts, or sundresses? Then a summer or spring session may be perfect for you. Do you like to wear jeans and sweaters, scarves and hats? You may enjoy a fall session best.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR MY SENIOR Portraits?
I recommend having at least 2 outfits: something dressy and something casual. As we plan your session, I will help you with suggestions for how to complete your outfits. You get receive a guide assisting you in what types of styles and colors complement your individual body type and skin tone.
Additional outfits that give great personality to your session are tshirts or sweatshirts from your future College, sports jerseys or uniforms, and other spirit wear from either your high school or college of choice!
WILL YOU RETOUCH BLEMISHES OR SCRATCHES?
Absolutely! I will hand edit every image in your gallery to make sure that it’s print-ready. During the questionnaire, you will have an opportunity to let me know if there are any features you want me to be sure NOT to touch- for example, I have a pink birthmark on my forehead. Several photographers have thought to remove it during retouches, but I always ask for it to stay since photos just don't look like me without it!
I want you to LOVE your images, so retouching is always included.
CAN SOMEONE COME WITH ME?
Yes, of course! Please feel free to bring a parent, sibling, aunt, friend, or butler to help you with your things and keep you laughing during your session. At the end, we will even bring them in for a few photos together.
